Saint Luke, Apostle and the Evangelist, is the patron saint of physicians, surgeons and medicine and health students. His feast is celebrated on October 18.

Briefing webinar for

• pre-medical and medical students, physicians and surgeons, 
• student nurses and nursing students, and registered nurses, and 
• paramedics and paramedics, 

who are registered as health volunteers for the program in Peru between June 2020 and May 2021.

How to be a volunteer

Eligibility Requirements

• be over 18 years old;
• be a medical, pre-medical, nursing or paramedical student; or be a registrated physician, surgeon, nurse or EMT-paramedic;
• be healthy physically and mentally;
• be vaccinated before traveling to Peru;
• speak English and Spanish; and,
• have no criminal record.

Personal interview

Program fees for Aliens

• Registration fee: No fee.
• Full-board in Lima, Peru: US$ 50.00 USD @ per person per day/night
• Airport shuttle in Lima, Peru: US$ 20.00 USD @ per person 
• 30 days of voluntary service in Peru: US$ 2,500.00 @ per person 
• 60 days of voluntary service in Peru: US$ 5,000.00 @ per person 
• 90 days of voluntary service in Peru: US$ 7,500.00 @ per person
